DOWNLOADING A ROUTE TO YOUR GARMIN DEVICE
The Easy (wireless) Way

1. Download and install the Garmin Connect app to your phone from your favorite app store.

2. Turn on the Garmin device.

3. Open the Garmin Connect app on your phone.

4. For first-time installation of the app, follow the on-screen instructions to complete the pairing process.

5. For all other uses, open the app and click on the My Day view (lower-left corner of the screen.
• Android: click on the connection icon in the upper-left corner
• iOS: click on the More view in the bottom-right corner

6. Select Garmin Devices

7. Select Add Device

8. Select your device

9. Follow the on-screen instructions from the app to complete the setup process. Upon completion, the Connect app will display the My Day view which will provide a snapshot of the data collected by your Garmin device (the device must remain on during the synching procedure.)

10. Now that the connection is established, you can transfer routes from RWGPS to your Garmin Device wirelessly:
• From your phone, click on the route from the email announcement, which will open it up on your phone.
• Click on the Save button at bottom of and select Save to Pinned
• Re-open the Garmin Connect app in proximity to your Garmin Device (which must be turned on).
• In a very few seconds, your pinned route(s) will be transferred to your device
• Find the route in the route library on your device and select it as you would as if you had downloaded the route using a USB connection.

11. SIDE BENEFIT: Once paired, Garmin Connect will automatically upload your ride data as soon as your are done with the ride and save it on your device (phone and Garmin device must be on for this to happen).
