Overall, the route is fairly flat & on low traffic roads, leaving near Canton town center. Very nice 30 mile ride up Hwy. 215, past Lake Logan, turning around at the USFS's Sun Burst Campground on NC-215.

Lunch afterwards at BearWaters Brewing in Canton should be a well-timed and well-earned option.

A No-Drop social ride, expecting about a 13 mph average pace.
