The plan proposes an interconnected network of paved paths, bikes lanes and other bike infrastructure that will provide greater safety, health, connectivity and alternate transportation routes throughout the county and region. Its adoption will enable county planners to determine the steps, dedication of resources and policy updates necessary to implement this plan. The plan will also facilitate grant applications and other fund raising efforts to help finance improvements to the county’s cycling infrastructure.
