Fairview Bat Cave and Broad River

After a long climb we are rewarded with a beautiful long descent into Bat Cave.

This is a beautiful ride through Leicester. The first mile or two on Emma road is a little busy, but after that on mostly quiet country roads. There is definitely some climbing, but some nice downhills as well.
Mars Hill Recreation Park

A nice ride for strong EZ and C riders. Distance of this ride is 30 miles with elevation of about 1,300 feet. We will attempt to keep the average speed between 10 - 12 mph. The ride may, if necessary, be divided into two groups to accommodate the variety of riders. This is a NO-DROP ride, however, in case you find yourself inadvertently dropped and in need of help, be sure to have the ride leader‘s contact info and call or text them for support.
The 19th annual Hunter Subaru WNC Flyer will be held in Western North Carolina. The start/finish will be at Oskar Blues in Brevard, NC. What better way to spend the day than with a bike ride, bluegrass, BBQ and a brew!

The ride will visit the most western section of Dupont. We will regroup as necessary. Plan on 12 miles, 1500 feet climbing and 2 hours of ride (moving) time.
