Burntshirt-44, https://ridewithgps.com/routes/49615183. A winery ride through apple orchards and past 2 other wineries, Stone Ashe & Marked Tree. Park in the gravel lots at the back. Burntshirt Winery opens at 11:30a and we should be able to use their restrooms. Entrance gates usually open ~11a. Burntshirt says their tasting room is closed for the winter, but their new Vintners Table building is open, with wine, food and a patio. • No terrible climbs, just hills & rollers. • No real rest stop planned.

A scenic and hilly ride exploring back roads on both sides of the French Broad River. We will make a coffee stop at newly reopened On Your Bike in Marshall. On the way back, riders will have the option of continuing along the river if they don‘t want to climb Ivy Hill. I plan to average between 12 and 12.5 mph, assuming I climb Ivy Hill. Nonmembers should contact the ride leader in advance of the ride to learn of the requirements for participation by nonmembers.
