This is an INTERMEDIATE LEVEL RIDE. Plan on 10 miles with 1800 feet elevation gain, 2 hours of ride (moving) time and a couple creek crossings. We will regroup as necessary.

Stage 3 includes a 100-mile (century) ride, a 65 mile metric century, the popular 50-mile Jack‘s Creek ride, a 37-mile no-drop ride, a 30-mile C pace no-drop ride, and a 30-mile D pace no-drop ride. TdT rides are club rides for various skill levels with multiple starting times, starting places and lengths throughout the 21 stages. Stage 4 includes a 37 mile B pace ride, the popular 26-mile "Pretty Place" ride, a 25-mile no-drop "Ice Cream" ride, and a 25-mile gravel ride. TdT rides are club rides for various skill levels with multiple starting times, starting places and lengths throughout the 21 stages. Epic Cycles - Hendersonville
Starting Tuesday, April 30th, every Tuesday evening until the end of August, Epic Cycles and BRBC will be hosting an evening ride. Meet at 5:30pm at Epic Cycles – ride starts at 6pm. These rides are open to everyone.
Stage 5 includes a 55 mile "A pace" ride, a challenging 42-mile ride with steep climbs to the highest point in SC, a 33-mile "C pace" no-drop ride, and a 21-mile "D pace" flat no-drop ride. For details you need to be an active BRBC member so you will receive the ride announcement email.

New Belgium Brewery area, parking lot at Craven Street and Emma Road
On the second weekend of TdT we will be starting each ride at a brewery! Stage 8 includes a 52-mile A pace ride, a 43-mile B pace ride, two 34-mile rides (B and C paces), and a 23-mile D pace no-drop ride. Active BRBC members will receive a ride announcement email with details.
We‘ll celebrate the completion of the first week of TdT with a Cycle ‘n Suds event! Riders are invited to enjoy a complimentary beverage at Ecusta Brewing after the rides. Stage 9 includes a challenging 69-mile A pace ride, a 44-mile B pace ride, a 38-mile B pace no-drop ride, a 26-mile C pace no-drop ride, an 18-mile D pace no-drop ride, and a challenging 44-mile gravel ride. Active BRBC members will receive a ride announcement email with details. Monday will be a well-deserved rest day!
Pisgah Center for Wildlife Education AKA Fish Hatchery parking lot.
The ride will include Cove Creek and Long Branch trails at a casual pace. We’ll regroup at intersections and no one will be dropped. Plan on about 14 miles, 1600 feet climbing and 2 hours+/- of ride (moving) time.

Beech Glen Community Center
A casual ride for folks who want to enjoy the company of others. Distance of this ride is 21 miles with elevation of about 1,100 feet. We will attempt to keep the average speed below 13 mph. The ride may, if necessary, be divided into two groups to accommodate the variety of riders. This is a NO-DROP Ride, however, in case you find yourself inadvertently dropped and in need of help, be sure you have the ride leader‘s contact info and call or text them for support.
With rest day behind us, Stage 10 includes a challenging 100-mile C pace century ride, two 50-mile rides (B pace and C pace no-drop), a 27-mile C pace no-drop ride, and a 20-mile D pace no-drop ride. Active BRBC members will receive a ride announcement email with details.

A scenic No Drop ride, mostly through the backroads between Weaverville, Jupiter and Marshall. Some climbing but quite moderate for the area with about 50 feet per mile of elevation gain over the 35 mile route. There will be a rest stop in downtown Marshall. Please park as far away from the stores as possible.

This ride may include Mine Mountain and Airstrip trails. We will regroup as necessary. Plan on about 13 miles, 1300 feet climbing and 2 hours of ride (moving) time.

Bill Moore (Fletcher) Community Park
The ride starts at Bill Moore Community Park in Fletcher. We‘ll ride the north or steep side of Bearwallow and then Bald Rock Rd. before returning to BMP. The route is 44 miles with 3500‘ elevation. While Bearwallow and Bald Rock are the two significant climbs on this route, we shouldn‘t forget Terry‘s Gap on our way back to the park. We‘ll regroup for a short break at Griffin‘s, mile 15 (after Bearwallow) and Fruitland, mile 34 (after Bald Rock).
C Pace (~14 mph avg). This is a DROP Ride. Always ensure you have the route and are fully self-sufficient to complete the ride on your own and have the ride leader‘s cell number if dropped.

This clinic is designed to introduce BRBC members who are new to cycling or returning to cycling to the cyclists‘ rules of the road, safety tips, cycling etiquette, and the multitude of opportunities our club offers for group rides.
