It starts in Mills River Park rather than Oskar Blues. 2. There is a slight route modification to go by Black Bear Coffee in Hendersonville so we can have an early rest stop. There is a second rest stop at the Exxon near Rosman at about mile 62 and an optional one at about mile 89 (slightly off course)!

This is a B version of Dawn’s ride. (15 - 17 mph average speed) We‘ll start with a short tour of Laurel Park on our way to Jones Gap. After descending Hebron Rd and a quick stop at Etowah Park (12mi), we‘ll climb the hard side of Jeter Mtn and then return to Trailside over Willow Rd. The climbs on this route are steep but not too long. And the descents are very nice. This is a DROP Ride. We do regroup several times. If you drop from the group, please text the ride leader. This is an experienced group of riders with reliable ascending, descending and pace line skills. Always ensure you have the route and are fully self-sufficient to complete the ride on your own and have the ride leader‘s cell number if dropped. Ride starts at Trailside Brewing in Hendersonville. Appalachian Coffee is open in the morning at Trailside. ?

A scenic 38 mile ride at a C C+ pace up into Madison County, turning around in the Beech Glenn area. There will be a rest stop in Mars Hill. This is a No Drop ride. The route has moderate (by local standards) climbing, about 72 feet per mile, and I plan to average between 13 and 13.5 mph, slower on climbs and faster on flat sections. Do you Rise and Grind during the week? Do you wake up early on the weekend even if you don‘t set an alarm? This ride may be for you! If you‘ve never seen the sun come up as you descend Terry‘s Gap and head into Apple Country then you should come on this ride! Leaving from Bill Moore Park in Fletcher and winding through Arden, Hooper‘s Creek, Fruitland and back, this ride features Terry‘s Gap as the major climb and Howard Gap to a lesser degree. We‘ll regroup a few times before major interchanges, stop for water as needed. Last half of the ride will be about a mile on US 64 and all the way back on Howard Gap. We‘ll stay single file the entire time on those roads as traffic can be inconsiderate of riders, though the amount of traffic is very lite this time of day! Bill Moore Park has restrooms, water bottle fill station and Repair Stand (though the pump is broken). We won‘t have a restroom stop on this ride (I‘m not stopping this car again!) If you‘re coming or you think you may come, please register so I can know how many to expect, this will also provide me with your cell number. Mine is listed, please have it saved in case there are any issues! Ride with GPS: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/45693249
