Sunday's weather forecast is looking good! Let's ride Cabin Creek. Sky Top Orchard is still open and I can be talked into stopping for apple cider donuts.

We'll start at Jackson Park Hendersonville. Park in the lot closest to the Glover St entrance. Ride through apple orchards to Tuxedo - rest stop at Tuxedo Park (halfway point), climb Cabin Creek Rd (might stop at Sky Top Orchard), down to Flat Rock, back Old Kanuga Rd through Hendersonville. This is a moderately hilly ride with the big climb up Cabin Creek Rd - 5.7 miles with an average grade of 3.6%.

I'm planning to average about 14 mph, pace level 4 - slower climbing but faster descending. Our rest stop will be at Tuxedo Park, mile 17, and just before we climb Cabin Creek. I will regroup as needed.
