Come join us in Fletcher for an easy Social ride, modeled after the popular Hendersonville Tuesday Socials.

With enough interest, this ride will become a weekly event, every Tuesday, hitting the road at 6PM. Arrive between 5:30 and 5:45 to fill water bottles, use the restroom, check tire pressure and get geared up! Ride will start in the large parking lot next to Cane Creek Components, 355 Cane Creek Rd. Fletcher NC 28732.

Option one will be a fun, social ride for riders looking for a new group to ride with, as well as some support on navigating the roads in Fletcher and Henderson County.  This ride is for new riders, riders with a new bike, or longtime riders looking for a relaxing fun ride in the evenings.  This fun, social route will be a loop with as few hills as possible.  Riders can ride as far as their pace will allow them to complete the ride before sunset. There are several options along the route where riders can shorten the distance, or turn around and head back he way they came.  At least one ride leader will ride as sweep to ensure no one is stranded on the route.  The total distance on the route is 14.8 miles but you can easily start out with a shorter distance and work your way up each week.  We have all summer!

CCC-Tuesday Social

Option two is for more experienced riders. This ride is a 19-mile hilly loop with 1300 ft elevation - ride out to Emmas Grove area for a beautiful loop and back.  This ride will not have a designated ride leader, but these roads are likely to be familiar to most of you.  Plan to have the route on your bike computer or phone.  And after a few weeks, the route will be familiar to everyone!
