Tuesday Evening Hendo Rides - Two Options

Every Tuesday, May 5th through August 25th
6:00 PM Wheels Rolling - arrive by 5:30PM for preliminaries and socializing
Blue Ridge Beer Garden, 402 S Church St, Hendersonville

NEW start/finish location:  Blue Ridge Beer Garden  After the ride, stay and socialize and eat at BRBG!  Plenty of free parking next to BRBG (south side).  Food Truck schedule on their website.

Option one will be a fun, social ride for riders looking for a new group to ride with, as well as some support on navigating the roads in Hendersonville.  This ride is for new riders, riders with a new bike, or longtime riders looking for a relaxing fun ride in the evenings.  This fun, social route will be an out and back route with a few hills as possible in Hendersonville.  Riders can ride as far as their pace will allow them to complete the ride before sunset.  At least one ride leader will ride as sweep to ensure no one is stranded on the route.  The total distance on the route is 14.5 miles but you can easily start out with a shorter distance and work your way up each week.  We have all summer!

RwGPS Route: Social Ride

Option two is for more experienced riders. This ride is a 19-mile hilly loop with 1600 ft elevation - ride out Willow Rd to Evans Rd and back in Kanuga Lake Rd.  This ride will not have a designated ride leader, but these roads are likely to be familiar to most of you.  Plan to have the route on your bike computer or phone.  And after a few weeks, the route will be familiar to everyone!
