Are you planning to ride the AOTC 100K? Or just want to do some climbing? This ride is for you!
Start from Cedar Mountain Outpost, 8431 Greenville Hwy, Brevard NC 28712. Park in the gravel area close to the mini-storage or behind the building.
This route goes down Caesar's Head, up "Big Grunt", through Pumpkintown and then back up the 6.5 mile Caesar's Head climb to the start. We'll regroup at mile 23.2 where there are two options to purchase snacks or food- the Pumpkintown General Store or Dollar General. I'm targeting 13.5 mph avg (Pace Level 3) for a slow B Ride and will regroup at the rest stops.
At the end of the ride plan to have a deli sandwich and beverage at Cedar Mountain Outpost and support BRBC member Christy Blakely's business.
