This is a B version of Dawn’s ride. (15 - 17 mph average speed) This is a DROP Ride. We do regroup several times. If you drop from the group, please text the ride leader. This is an experienced group of riders with reliable ascending, descending and pace line skills. Always ensure you have the route and are fully self-sufficient to complete the ride on your own and have the ride leader's cell number if dropped.
Repeating last week's route - it was so nice I thought we'd ride it again. Willow Rd has a short gravel section on our climb but the descent is good with the usual steep and winding sections. On our return, Evans Rd has a very well-marked and short one lane section - same section as last week but now with very good signage. This ride goes out Willow Rd, to Etowah and Mills River then returns via Evans and Kanuga River Rd. Optional stops for a short break at Mills River Brewing, mile 22 or Etowah Park, mile 34
