This route is flat for the first 10.5 miles after which we do a 5.5 mile climb; after reaching the peak, we turn around and head down, retracing our route to mile 25, at which point we turn and climb for a mile before cruising back to the start.
I expect to do this ride at an average speed of 13.0-13.5 mph. This is a "NO-DROP Ride” as much as possible, and we'll regroup at appropriate spots. But be sure you have the route and are fully self-sufficient to complete the ride on your own and have the ride leader's cell number if dropped.
