Club Rides

Headed to LL for the weekend and have never ridden out there. Any insight into the roads/routes? Dangerous/Scary or just normal, "be careful"... thanks!

I have purchased a house in Lake Lure and am there monthly.  Also looking for group rides.  

Perry - We have several Lake Lure routes in our Library. To use them you need the Ride with GPS app, or if you have it, to be linked to the Club account in the app. You can find the instructions for doing that at:

There are six routes in our library on Lake Lure (search term "LKL"), all using Buffalo Shoals Rd along the east margin of the Lake. That road is getting some bike traffic per the heatmaps. I have only ridden it once some years ago and don't recall problems - it was hilly and winding as Kristi says, but that tends to keep the car traffic slower.
