The Henderson County Transportation Advisory Committee [TAC] has a vacancy for an at-large member. The TAC is an advisory board that helps NCDOT and elected officials who represent the county at the regional MPO Board. The Committee would love to have a representative from the biking community to help shape future bicycle projects. Dawn Barr is completing her term on the Committee and I served for a term before her.
The committee meets every third Wednesday at 4 PM. The representative must be a Henderson County citizen and must submit an application to the Clerk (dlauffer@hendersoncountync.gov).
