Sent my personally crafted message in just now. Thanks for making this easier, John!
Here it is …..

Dear folks that have power about transportation infrastructure

Please use your elected position to strongly support multi-modal transportation infrastructure. This creates safety, opportunity, better health, economic diversity. Make these projects easier to get done by more flexible, easy permitting, allowing states to use HSIP funds as a match for the TAP funds. Take seriously the FHWA’s proven safety countermeasures. Support widely popular programs such as Safe Streets, Roads for All, and Transportation Alternatives, including the Active Transportation Infrastructure Investment Program. Please make more modern the vehicle safety standards.

I love being active on my feet or bike, and hope to keep doing that until my dying day, hopefully safely.

Thanks. This looks different from the link I clicked on yesterday.

I clicked on the big red send message button and nothing happened.

I will keep trying. Maybe there is a glitch.

Thanks Jenny: If you scroll down there is a big red button with the text "Submit Your Comment On Transportation Priorities", you can click on that. That takes you to this page:

https://bikeleague.org/take-action/action-center/?vvsrc=%2fcampaigns%2f129400%2frespond

Where on the right hand side is a box on the right hand side that says "Compose Your Message", you may have to scroll down a bit but towards the bottom is the text entry area.

Thanks for sending. I went to the link and it does not take you to the federal transportation page. I tried searching that and it was very difficult to find anywhere to comment. Any additional help would be appreciated.

“I do think it's a problem when we're making massive investments in bike lanes at the expense of vehicles.”

— Secretary of Transportation Sean Duffy

Safer roads for all road users should be a federal priority and that convenience for cars shouldn’t come at the expense of bicyclist’s lives.

Now you can tell Secretary Duffy what you think. The U.S. Department of Transportation is solicitating feedback on “any aspect of Federal transportation infrastructure policy to inform the surface transportation reauthorization process.” Every American is invited to share their thoughts on what should be a federal priority in the next reauthorization bill, one that will shape funding and policy through 2031.

Let them know bicycle infrastructure and safety are vital concerns!
