Elizabeth, I’ve already had one person respond. You’re the second. I’ll let you know if he follow’s thru.

Mark

I’d be interested if it’s still available!

I’ve recently purchased a Garmin 1040 to replace may Garmin 1000. I’m offering my old unit for free to the first responding BRBC Club member. The battery holds a charge though the cable connection is a little finicky. You just need to ensure it’s properly connected when charging. I replaced the back plate a couple years ago when the microSD card slot quit working. Unfortunately the alarm speaker on the back plate does not work. Otherwise, it works well linking with route maps, bike and personal sensors and your smart phone.

I’ve reset the phone to its original factory settings so you can set it up as you like. It includes a silicon protective case, lanyard, microSD card and charging/data transfer cable. Setup instructions can be found on the internet.

Thanks, Mark Blakeley
