This is an outstanding racing bike as well as a marvelous steed for the frisky (read much younger than me) recreational rider. It is the latest Wilier frame, although later models have adopted a different name. This one is virtually as light as they come. Bike, including pedals, is under 14 lbs. And, that's just the start. This is stiff in the right places and compliant enough so it doesn't beat you to death on a long ride. It corners like a dream, without being twitchy.
So here's what's in it:
- Rolf Prima Elan wheelset (virutally brand new)
- Sram Red brakes and shifters (except in wet conditions, these will stand up to any disc brakes sold - way better than Shimano or Campagnolo - I know because I've ridden all three)
- Extra battery set for shifters
- Ritchey carbon stem
- Carbon flat-top bars
- Campagnolo Super Record crank and chain rings
- Garmin two-sided power-metering pedals (virtually brand new)
- Selle Italia super-lightweight saddle (virtually brand new)
At the original retail price (about 2016-17) this bike was $11,555, with the Super Record groupo, but without any of the upgrades(pedals, wheels, saddle).
SIZE: The top tube, center of seat tube to center of head tube, is 53 cm (21”); the seat tube, center of bottom bracket to center of top tube, is 50 cm (19.7”). My inseam is 30”, and the bike fit me very comfortably, without outsized stem, seat post or head-tube spacers.
