We need a SAG Coordinator for the 2026 Flyer!
Responsi bilities:
Recruit volunteers for the SAG/Safety Team, update and as semble the WNC Flyer Safety Manuals [one per sag vehicle, one for the Ride Director, one for the HAM Radio Team Leader] assess safety areas of conce rn for the event, problem solve and come up with solutions for these areas with safety officials and event director, secure and coordinate the SAG v ehicles, their route, supplies they need to have in their vehicles and pla ns if they pick-up and assist participants along the way, on ride day be t he point of contact for the SAG vehicles and police/EMS/rescue officials, coordinate with the HAM Radio Team Leader throughout the event, coordinate with the SAG/Safety Team to retrieve all signs during the final rider swe ep of the course and return them to the Start/Finish venue, and update the Timing spreadsheet.
