Etowah Warm-up ride

RIDE DESCRIPTON:62-mile "no-drop" ride:  The route follows a big clockwise loop over Terrys Gap, through apple orchards to Hendersonville, and back over Davis Mountain Road.  Hank and Dawn will lead a moderate "B- pace" group.  The ride will regroup from time to time. It is fine to break away from the group but be sure you know the route.  Once you get ahead of the ride leaders you are on your own!  There are a few options to shorten the ride. If you want a 52-mile route that is similar you can use this route: 52-mile route. There is not currently a designated leader for this route so you will be on your own unless there are others that also choose this route.

PARKING CONSIDERATIONS:  Parking is available at the start.

HYDRATION, NOURISHMENT AND AVAILABILITY OF RESTROOMS:
Restrooms available at the start of the ride.  Bring snacks.  There are food/restroom stops at the Mills River Ingles and Appalachian Coffee in Hendersonville.  Another restroom stop may be available at Justus Academy around mile 39.
