RIDE DESCRIPTON:  An easy, social C Pace Sunday ride from Jackson Park starting at noon with a stop at the Flat Rock Bakery for pastries/cookies. Two distance options: 35.4mi, 2439' or 24.6mi, 1390'. Both options use the same route to arrive at Flat Rock Bakery at 14.5mi.

C Pace:  Avg speed 13-14mph. Slower on climbs, faster on flats. This is a NO-DROP Ride - we'll regroup as needed.  Always ensure you have the route and are fully self-sufficient to complete the ride on your own and have the ride leader's cell number if you get separated.

HYDRATION, NOURISHMENT AND AVAILABILITY OF RESTROOMS:  At the start, restrooms are available at Jackson Park.  Restrooms, water, pastries, cookies are available at the Flat Rock Bakery.

EQUIPMENT: Helmets and water bottles are mandatory. Have the route on your bike computer, phone, or printed cue sheet. Front facing headlights and rear blinking lights are highly recommended for all rides and required on the Blue Ridge Parkway unless appropriate reflectors are attached. Your bike must be equipped with the necessary lights or reflectors in accordance with applicable North Carolina and federal law and statutes governing bicycles. You should be fully self-sufficient for repair of flat tires or small mechanical issues.

WEATHER:  The weather will be turning cooler so please remember if the weather looks "iffy" or gets bad before the start date and time, then the ride leaders may not be there and you will be riding on your own. Western NC is a very large area and some places could be sunshine and other places bad weather.  I will not email cancellations for these rides.

Non-Members are welcome but need to sign the online waiver before the ride:
