This ride is a variation on the theme of the Jacks Creek 38. By doing the route in reverse from the original Jacks Creek 38, we encounter the &quot;toughest&quot; climbing in the first 5 miles (about 200 feet over those 5 miles, so it&#39;s really not so tough after all!). <br /><br />38 miles; 1,700 feet elevation gain; maximum grade 6.4% - all make for a great ride along the beautiful rural roads of Yancey County!
